ABOUT

Evan’s music is a reflection of life’s constant unfolding — weaving personal transformation, emotional landscapes, and a deep love of the natural world into each wave of sound.

On his debut full-length studio album, Her Sound (released March 22, 2024), Evan reflects on lost love, identity, and the complexities of coming of age. Themes of change, nostalgia, and self-reclamation echo through the album’s intimate songwriting and rich instrumentation.
The project was brought to life with the production support of Tom Deis (Via Audio, MILM) at Pineapple Room Studio in Kerhonkson, NY, and features drums by multi-instrumentalist and composer Mike Reilly (Pretend Collective) Walker Adams on drums (St. Vincent, Telepathic Moon Dance), and bassist James Preston.
The album’s first singles — Days of Old (February 17) and Dawn Rising Fully (March 19) — set the tone for a sonic journey that is both deeply personal and universally relatable.

Before Her Sound, Evan contributed guitar and songwriting to It Gives Life (2014) from the psychedelic rock group The Breath Collective. The band recently completed their second cross-coastal album, User’s Illusion, featuring singles Hope and a Prayer and You You Know leading up to its August 2, 2023 release.

In addition to original projects, Evan released a collection of covers in spring 2022 — reimagining songs from alternative, indie rock, and ambient neoclassical traditions. Later that year, he debuted the Forever Free EP, a trio of original tracks exploring freedom, memory, and creative longing.

From his roots in New York City’s vibrant musical and cultural landscape to the mountains of New York’s Hudson Valley, Evan’s journey has been shaped by a lifelong immersion in music. Growing up in a musical family, he was surrounded by a wide spectrum of sounds and traditions that still influence his style today.

Evan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Music (Composition and Theory emphasis) from SUNY New Paltz (2016) and a dual Bachelor’s and Master’s in Music Education from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam (2020).
Since 2016, he has produced, recorded, and performed music both as a solo artist and collaboratively with The Breath Collective. His music is available on Spotify, YouTube, and major streaming platforms.
