In "Days of Old", Evan reflects on lost love, contemplating the lighter and darker aspects of himself in a time of coming of age. Personal reflections such as this, revolving around change, are a few of the themes woven together onto Evan's first full-length studio album. The first single, "Days of Old" was released on February 17th followed by "Dawn Rising Fully" released March 19th. The album was supported by the production of Tom Deis (Via Audio, MILM) at Pineapple Room Studio in Kerhonkson, NY as well as instrumental support by multi-instrumentalist and composer Mike Reilly (Pretend Collective) on drums, Walker Adams (St. Vincent, Telepathic Moon Dance) and bassist James Preston.
Evan's full-length album, "Her Sound" was released on March 22, 2024.
Evan contributed guitar and songwriting to the 2014 release, "It Gives Life" from the psychedelic rock group, The Breath Collective. The band recently finished their second full-length cross-coastal album. The first singles, "Hope and a Prayer" and "You You Know" lead up to the album release of "User's Illusion" on August 2nd, 2023.
In the spring of 2022, Evan compiled an EP titled, "Covers" drawing inspiration from common sources such as alternative and indie rock as well as ambient neoclassical. Later that year, Evan released an EP of 3 original songs with the "Forever Free" EP.
From New York City to the mountains of the Hudson Valley in upstate NY, Evan's musical journey began at a young age. Growing up in a musical family in New York City, Evan was exposed to an array of cultures, ethnicities, and musics.
Evan completed a Bachelor's of Music in Contemporary Music emphasizing in Music Composition and Theory at SUNY New Paltz in 2016. Subsequently, Evan finished a Master's of Music in Music Education and a Bachelor's of Music in Music Education at the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam in 2020.
Since 2016, Evan has recorded and produced his own music as well as performed with the collaborative project, The Breath Collective. His music can be found on Spotify, YouTube, and other streaming services.
